Iron gates stand open beneath a blossoming arbor. A path lined with violets and daisies leads to a table laid with cake and fruit, a chandelier glowing softly above it. Nothing bars the way. Nothing is required to come in.

Beneath the paint, hand-lettered into the ground, is Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with me." This is the table He invites us to. The door is already open; the only thing left is to enter in.

Painted in oil over a hand-built ground of scripture and hymnal text, with gold leaf worked into the path.
