There are places that seem too dry, too harsh, too unlikely for anything beautiful to grow. And yet, it does.Even Here It Blooms is a celebration of that kind of beauty the kind that doesn't wait for perfect circumstances. Built through layers of mixed media, mark-making, acrylic and oil, this piece carries the texture and history of its making beneath the surface.
For me, it is a painting about hope. About the seasons when we can't yet see what God is doing. About discovering that the place we thought was barren may be the very place something new begins to grow.
Even here, it blooms.
